Why I Don’t Let Nigerians Know If I’m Married – Uriel from BBNaija

  • Uriel has stated that many people assume she is still single simply because she does not show her relationship on social media.
  • The reality TV star added that she will not let Nigerians know that she is in a relationship because she has seen the damage social media can cause.
  • Uriel added that she will not subject any man she loves to such treatment.

Former Big Brother Naija housemate Uriel Oputa has said she will not let the public know when she finally gets married.

According to the reality TV star and YouTuber, she is old-fashioned so she likes to keep such information away from social and traditional media.

Uriel made the comment via her Instagram page, pointing out that people assume she is single because she doesn’t post her husband online.

She stated that if she gets married, she would not post her husband’s face because of the badness on the internet.

According to Uriel, the internet is full of toxicity and that is why she will not subject her husband to any kind of criticism or backlash from the public, so she will never post about her husband when she gets married.

said the food lover:

“People assume I’m single because I don’t post my relationship. Listen, I’m old-fashioned. Even if I get married, you won’t know…

“I have seen the depravity that the Internet spreads. I will not subject any man I love to that. Let me gather in peace.”

In other news, Nigerian filmmaker Eniola Ajao has spoken on why she hasn’t revealed her son on social media and why she decided to do so after 20 years.

The actress turned filmmaker stated that she deliberately did not let people know that she is a single mother because she was afraid that no man would want to marry her.

Eniola Ajao said her mindset later changed when she realized that many of her colleagues continued to see her as a “little girl.”
