Freedom Baseball’s Griffin Burkholder is a high school star with MLB potential

The ball disappeared almost before the crowd had a chance to react. Pressed against the railings, toddlers and professional scouts alike craned their necks and widened their eyes.

Mark Wrighte, coach at Freedom (South Riding), would later claim that this was the longest home run he had ever seen on the Eagles’ home field.
