A moral dilemma

Depending on your location, morel mushroom season runs from March to June. The key is the weather: daytime temperatures in the 60s and nighttime temperatures somewhere in the 40s.

While the “hunt” is often a big part of the fun, what if the nutrient-rich fungi were available year-round? While this is possible in the future, researchers at Michigan State University found that growing more mushrooms is expensive and challenging for growers.
