Peregrine raises $30 million in Series B funding

Peregrine falcona San Francisco, CA-based data integration platform provider, has raised $30 million in Series B funding.

The round was led by Friends & Family Capital and Fifth Down Capital with participation from existing investors Goldcrest Capital, Craft Ventures, Godfrey Capital and other committed partners.

The company plans to use the funds to further fuel its continued growth and accelerate hiring to more than double its workforce by 2024.

Founded in 2018 and led by CEO Nick Noone, Peregrine has developed advanced data integration platform that improves emergency response efforts and reduces violent crime by making existing data more accessible, understandable and usable. The technology is used to solve citywide, regional or state-wide priorities and challenges.

Peregrine connects structured and unstructured data from disparate sources to gain insights for some of the nation’s most advanced government agencies. The platform enables search, investigation, activity management, and secure collaboration in one place, making it easy for staff to perform tasks that were once impractical or labor-intensive. The integration of existing data of any type or scale allows people and entire organizations to ask questions and get answers in one place, near real-time.

The company’s customers currently serve and protect more than 25 million people nationwide.

Commenting on the news, Nobody said: “Peregrine builds technology to solve state, regional and local government agencies’ toughest problems faster and more effectively. Importantly, we enable stronger communities while protecting the privacy and civil liberties of customer and citizen data.”
