Shopian (Jammu and Kashmir) (India), May 6 (ANI): In a joint operation by Indian Army, Central Reserve Police Force and Jammu and Kashmir Police, two persons in possession of weapons were arrested at Aloora in Jammu and Kashmir’s Shopian on Sunday.

The weapons recovered include one pistol, two hand grenades and other war supplies, the army said.

“Based on specific inputs from intelligence agencies, a Joint Mobile Vehicle Check Post (MVCP) has been established today by #IndianArmy, @crpf_srinagar and @JmuKmrPolice at Aloora, Shopian. Two suspected persons have been arrested along with the recovery of 01xPistol, 02xHand Grenade and other war grains such as shops, further investigation is underway,” the army reported on X. (ANI)
