CM Punk still trapped at WWE headquarters, Triple H praises Jessika Carr

As we previously reported here on eWn, WWE Superstar CM Punk was locked up at the WWE headquarters in Stamford, Connecticut following the “Countdown to WWE Backlash: France” pre-show.

According to a post Punk shared on his Instagram stories, he is still present at the massive facility.

Punk joked: “I think I could just become the Phantom of the Opera. I think I could live in this place, and I don’t think anyone would know. I am lost. There are too many places to hide. Anyway, so yeah, to answer all your questions, I’m still here.

WWE Chief Creative Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque expressed his admiration for referee Jessika Carr’s performance in officiating the match between AJ Styles and Cody Rhodes at WWE Backlash: France.

Triple H tweeted, “Jessika Carr has been breaking glass ceilings since joining @WWE, and last night was no different. During #WWEBacklash France, @WWELadyRefJess became the first female official to ever referee a #WWETitle PLE main event match.”

Jessica replied, “There are no words to express my pride, appreciation and gratitude. To be entrusted with something of this magnitude is so special. Thank you and I want to continue growing, improving and shattering more glass ceilings.”
