It is a land of finks and wotchas and of ‘a good earth’, of cash only, but enough that is on hand. They say, “quite a lot of naughty people still come in,” says Anna. “But they’re as good as gold here.” They come, in addition to all the not so naughty types, for the food, a mix of café classics (a fully English, fried scampi, liver with bacon) and Italian highlights (lasagna, penne with pesto, tiramisu). But actually they come for Nev and Anna.
